KOREANDRUMS
Lauren is from Kennewick, Washington. She is a freshman studying at BYU-Hawai'i. She began playing the piano at age seven. She loves Disney. She is also in the university's soccer team. Lo believes that music can invite the spirit so quickly and through its power we can be united. She says, "When we all sing or listen together we get to experience the same emotions and feelings that the performers is conveying. This experience we share unites us, and unity brings peace."
Performing at the Polynesian Cultural Center's best luau, Whitney Karratti, Megan Cabacungan, Teuila Memea, and Kara Mataia will perform a beautiful number in @RTIMOS concert. The song "Lei Hali'a" used in this performance talks about dreams and imagination flourishing in the heart. "We choose this song because no matter what age, or culture, every person dreams, wishes, and imagines in their heart when resting peacefully!"
Sean Crapo is from Canada. He loves music, and has been playing guitar since junior high, and sining for the last few years. He expresses his attitude toward music, "Music moves people whether they know it or not. It brings emotions out of people." Music has always inspired Sean and always has played a big role in his life. he is excited to be performing with Art, Phil, and Ryan in the @RTIMOS Concert
Ryan is from a little town in called Arlington in Washington, which is an hour north of Seattle. He grew up playing music, singing, and playing in choir and bands. Music has always been a big part of his life, and he loves sharing it wherever he can. "Music is a form of peace and I love it because you can create that peace anytime, anywhere." Ryan will be singing "The Rose" which is a beautiful song about love and many interpretations of it.

Leah Hinckley
Leah is originally from Wyoming where she came from a large family of ten children. She started performing with her siblings at a young age in voice. She also competed in Utah & Wyoming with vocal jazz and classical music. "Music is more than an art form, but a way to exhibit human emotions through God's greatest gift: our bodies." Being able to produce beautiful music from within is something to love and appreciate. "Everyone has music within themselves to share."
Spencer Clegg
Spencer is from Utah. He loves the power that music has when used in the right way. He believes that music can be an incredible source of peace and inspiration. He shared a quote from Ezra Taft Benson which gave a speech about music that music, by its beat, tone, and lyrics can be used as a great influence.
Kent Carollo
Kent has enjoyed music in various forms throughout his life, and performed the song "Love Begins At Home" with his high school vocal ensemble during his senior year. He connected immediately with the message of the song as it communicated his beliefs about family and the influence they ahve on society. "Love Begins At Home" articulates how the souls and hearts of a generation are shaped by the hands of those who go before them.
Kent is a biology major from Boise, Idaho with a passion for graphic art and running.
The group is made of BYU Hawaii students who work in the Maori Village at the Polynesian Cultural Center. They are all either of Maori heritage or from Aotearoa (NZ). Each one of them is fully committed to the mission statement and purposes of PCC of which two are “to radiate the spirit of God” and “to preserve and portray the cultures, arts and crafts of Polynesia”.
