The conceptual geniuses behind Haberdashery are Al Rosales and James Warren.  Their original idea was to explore highly percussive, experimental, avant-garde, minimalist music (read general strangeness).  After James’ death, Al collaborated with a couple like-minded friends at the original Artimos concert to produce something unexpected and exciting, and dedicated their performance to James.  Since then, Haberdashery has grown out of jam sessions with friends into an ever-evolving cacophony of folksy, jazzy, gypsy rock.  Due to the transient nature of today’s college types, there’s a steady haberdasher diaspora, but the constant reinvention keeps us on our toes.  But as always, every performance is dedicated to our friend James.
